How to extract, compile and present Financial Statements.

Today Financial Statements must be produced not only to South African Generally Accepted Accounting Practices but also to International Financial Reporting Standards.

This Short Learning Programme will develop the skills and knowledge required of an employee to produce a set of Financial Statements for small and medium enterprises and will also deal with taxation issues and financial ratios.

An Advanced Financial Reporting Course for Bookkeepers and those who wish to understand financial statements.

The Financial Statements of an organzation are required regularly by its management and yearly by banks and the revenue authorities apart from other interested organizations that may wish to evaluate an organization's financial position.

The presentation of Financial Statements is an art form requiring subtle appreciation of the often-conflicting interests of the different types of organizations evaluating Financial Statements.

The Center for Management Development will present this course, which follows on and integrates with the Trial Balance Foundation Course.

COURSE DURATION
10 three hour sessions

TRAINEE EVALUATION

Trainee evaluation will consist of written assessments, audits of a complete set of Financial Statements, the Financial Year-End Work Sheet and Taxation Calculations.

CERTIFICATION

Trainees who complete the course successfully will be awarded a certificate of competence.

COURSE FEES

Classes to be held on Wednesday afternoons from 13h30 for 10 consecutive weeks at Little Mowbray.  Fees of R4 800.00 if paid on enrolment or R5 100.00 if paid by instalment.
